All the students were absolutely thrilled with the installation of our new outdoor equipment which include a story telling chair, picnic benches, board games and chalk boards. Thank you to all who contributed to this.  

The theme for assembly in November has been Respect. The students have discussed what this means, what it looks like, how it makes us feel and how we can demonstrate it. They also played a board game based on scenarios that involve respect.

The students have been enjoying Gymnastics lessons with teacher Joe from School Fitness Ireland this term. They have been learning and practicing several moves, positions, rolls and balances. Everyone has really enjoying participating in gymnastics.  

Well done to the students involved in the cookery groups who baked a delicious apple tart for everyone to enjoy in school. This tart was extra special as the apples were the 1st harvest from our school apple trees. The students made the pastry, prepared the filling...

Once our school pumpkin had been harvested, all students took part in carving our pumpkin. The students in the junior room all took part in scooping out the flesh and the students in the senior room assisted with the design and carving of the pumpkin.  

We were delighted to host our 1st book fair on the 3rd of October. This was greatly supported by all in the community and it was wonderful to see so many engaging with the different books on sale.

As our garden continues to grow and develop, we were thrilled with the donation of a beautiful pencil sculpture for ouryre garden. The wood used in the pencil has been very locally sourced and we are thrilled to have this as part of our school garden. Students were...

We celebrated Friendship Week in September this year. All students learned the song Stand By Me. We played a variety of cooperation games, discussed what it means to be a good friend and also completed friendship recipes.
