Our school garden is developing very nicely now – the apple trees are currently in bloom, we are growing alpine strawberries, oriental lettuce, butterhead lettuce, spring onions, scallions, chives, mint, oregano, parsley, lavender, nasturtium. We are growing sweet pea flowers up along a teepee made from bamboo and are currently in the process of germinating sunflowers and will be ready to plant them in the Tyres so they will hopefully be in bloom come September. All students were given oriental lettuce to bring home from our garden.
